Theatre of Changing Seasons Pledge

Pledge of Freehold structure

On this day, ___/___/____ the leaders of the Theatre of Dusk and Dawn do pledge to open the leadership of their Freehold to four lords of the seasonal court. The active monarch for the season will represent their court and adjudicate the affairs of their own seasonal courtiers, while the elected monarch of Dusk and Dawn will continue to adjudicate their own affairs and members.

I, the undersigned lord/noble, will allow a ruling council of eight members will be appointed, four from the seasonal and four from the diurnal philosophies. I accept that a majority of council members must be consulted when an issue is raised, but reigning monarchs have a casting decision if decisive action is required to avoid harm to members of the Freehold. Overall decisions affecting the Freehold will be put to a vote by the council, the ‘theatre board of directors’. The duties and responsibilities of position holders will be detailed in another document.

I understand that all pledges and positions will continue unhindered by this agreement, but must be open and transparent. I swear that any existing agreement or potential conflict of interest with another freehold or territory has been openly discussed to the satisfaction of the other position all holding-signatories.

The new freehold will be called The Theatre of Changing Seasons.

Freehold Pledge - Oath of Commendation

By signing this document I do swear upon the oaken doors of the theatre that I will give my allegiance to the Freehold of The Theatre of Changing Seasons. I will provide aid to the Freehold of The Theatre of Changing Seasons as my abilities and talents allow and in return the The Theatre of Changing Seasons will provide for me safety and aid when I am in need. I will follow the Laws set forth by our Elected Government and will, for the next Season and a day, agree to my own rights and responsibilities under that government. If I break these laws and thus my oath, may my welcome within the The Theatre of Changing Seasons be revoked and may I be relieved of any protection I was once offered.
