A Forgotten Pain

In Emrys' eyes, MacBeth had one purpose, acting. MacBeth was a splendid, actor that was well renowned for his acting ability and his charm. Despite his undeniable ability, Emrys saw that MacBeth had more potential. So the night before the opening curtain of the play, MacBeth, she offered him the ability to become something better. MacBeth, with his ego and greed quickly agreed to Emrys' offer and so, on the 1st of January 2009, MacBeth became a kindred. But under the surface there was a dark being that pained MacBeth. His days at war, Afghanistan, had taken their effect. So much so, that during his embrace MacBeth, apparently, went mad in confusion and rage. Emrys, being his sire and of Daeva blood saw quickly that her childe was in pain. She quickly used her dominate abilities to control MacBeth, removing his memories of his 3 deployments and only leaving his acting experiences behind. Of course Emrys, with her wisdom, left his ability to fight unharmed. However, MacBeth simply believed that he adopted these abilities from his embrace, as if they were a gift from the undeath.

Appearance

MacBeth is commonly seen in costume for his performances in Shakespearean plays. However, if you do encounter him, out of costume, you'll find that his appearance is quite similar to Sam Worthington's, when he played a modern interpretation of MacBeth (thus the display picture to the right).

Personality

Although, most of his darker memories have been removed, MacBeth still does have a rather dark personality. By this definition, a lot of his humour and metaphors are quite crude, albeit, intricate. He also is exceptionally good at public speaking, despite making efforts to limit such speeches on a frequent basis. This is because, he prefers to perform artistically, rather than break the fourth wall and talk to the public. However, this distaste should not been seen as a lack of ability, as he is more than confident to do so.

Timeline

• 2009 - Embrace
• 2010 - Close relationship with his sire and, thus, the prince continues.
• 2011 - Becomes very renown amongst the Daeva clan.
• 2012 - Officially joins the Invictus. However, he makes it quite public that his devotion to the Lancea Sanctum is his first priority.
• 2013 - Travels and conquers Cairo. Quits the Invictus via email. Returns to Armidale in the middle of August.

2013

• Conquers Cairo.
• Returns to Armidale in the middle of AUG.
• Makes it quite public that he respects the recently awakened elder, but he fears that Alim may be a threat to the masquerade.
• Heads to Brisbane for the Conclave. But departs early as it bored him.

• It is believed that MacBeth and his sire's relationship has existed for longer than his time as a Kindred.
• It is believed that he has been dominated to forget the experiences that he faced in Afghanistan. If somebody does succeed in breaking this dominate with their own it is feared that MacBeth will anger frenzy, like he did during his embrace.
• MacBeth isn't the best at making compromises that don't benefit him.
• Whether or not he went to Cairo is questionable, to say the least. Even if he did go, what advantage would it provide to the domain and why should the court care about his claim to higher status.
