*1908: Isaac with the rest of his family traveled overseas to go to the Olympics in London. When the games were finished he went to a boarding school just outside of London.

*1914: At the start of World War One Isaac joins up with the British Expeditionary Force and for the next 4 years is on the Western Front. In his free time Isaac starts to write poems, unlike a lot of his contemporaries involved in the war his writings are always about love in one way or the other.
