Appearance

Jonas is a tall, lanky figure, often appearing disheveled or dirty, he's known to change clothes several times a night. Has knotted mess of stringy blonde hair, most often dyed black, the better to escape notice of any authorities with a quick hair cut and a night's sleep.

Personality

Jonas is a cheerful sort, a disposition he attributes to his heritage as one of the Traveling People. A devout believer in the Dark Mother, if somewhat blasphemous on occasion, and rarely giving more than a token acknowledgement of the Circle's stated political goals. Jonas displays a mercenary and cynical disposition towards politics, preferring to spend his energy on pleasure and survival, instead of on status and political capitol.

Recent History

1769 – Jonas Born to Judith Boswell and an unkown 'Northman' a sailor who docked briefly in London.

1788- Jonas is sentenced to transportation to the colonies for

1789- After six months or more at sea in cramped, filthy conditions bellow decks as a convict Jonas Boswell arrives in Sydney Harbour and is immediately put to work at manual labour. Cutting trees and breaking rocks for grazing pasture on a privately owned farm.

1791- Late one night, for reasons not entirely clear even now, Jonas is attacked and embraced by a lone Norvegi vampire. Unfortunately, upon waking, Jonas attacks and subdues his Sire before fleeing into the night. When he awakes the following sunset his Sire is no where to be found, possibly he was caught by the sun.

1791- Shortly after his embrace Jonas us found by a follower of the Priya Sarin, and inducted into the crone, despite his “disability”. As an acolyte Jonas finds if not a family, then at least a group of people occasionally willing to side with him against outsiders, and do business fairly.

1808- Jonas uses the Rum Rebellion to cover his own excesses and get revenge on a couple of mortals who took the whip to him when he was a mortal convict. On the Kindred side of things Jonas keeps his head down, not wanting to be associated with a possible losing side, he avoids declaring for either side.

1836- During the initial Nemite rebellion, Jonas lays low and pretends loyalty to the new regime. During this time he provides intelligence on the Nemite rebellion to Bush's supportors, occasionally making a hit against easy targets, or using mortals to destroy Nemite interests.

1856- Jonas takes an active part in pushing the Nemites out of Sydney, attacking from the cover of obfuscate, burning havens to the ground and generally having fun.

1906- During the night of the three princes Jonas scarpered after the initial attack on Governor Bush, not wanting to get involved in the machinations of the high and mighty (and honestly, not caring who's in charge, provided they're not causing him trouble).

1906-1919 - Tiberius' Praxis is uneventful for Jonas, he keeps a low profile, does dirty work for his social betters, and continues to learn the secrets of the Dark Mother.

1919- Tobias Mol's reign as governor is... interesting. His anarchic principles mean Jonas basically has free reign in his life provided he doesn't come to the attention of any other predators. Something he's well accustomed to. Jonas' blood potency increases significantly during this period of indulgence.

1958 – Under Gallagher's rule, Jonas continues to make his way through life. Doing what he must to survive and avoiding unnecessary attention.

1970 – Heads to Perth on an errand for an Invictus sponsor. At this point Jonas first encounters Dearbhail, and a friendship forms due to their similar world views.

1975 – During the Brood war Jonas returns to the same pattern he used during the Nemite rebellion, maintaining the appearance of subservience and loyalty, while feeding information to the government in exile and taking out weak targets.

1979 – In the final nights of the war Jonas is involved in an ambush which goes badly, surviving the fight, but badly beaten he crawls beneath an abandoned warehouse and falls into Torpor.

2014- Jonas awakes in late July, confused and lost.
