Adelaide Vampire: the Masquerade 5th Edition History

1999

• Prince Miranda is assassinated by the Cathayans, her political Rival and previous Harpy, Dominic Sterling, ascends to the position of Prince by popular ‘vote’. His views on the Anarch Movement worry many of its members.
• The awakening of the Ravnos Antediluvian causes all members of Clan Ravnos to fall into a collective Hunger Frenzy, draining and diablerizing any Kindred nearby, including each other. In response, all surviving members of Clan Ravnos are Blood Hunted within the City of Adelaide by Prince Dominic Sterling.
• Prominent Anarch Leaders petition for Prince Sterling to call off the Blood Hunt against the Ravnos, negotiations soon end with their public execution in Elysium.

2000

• The Anarchs respond to their Leaders’ execution by releasing a list of the Adelaide Courts position holder’s assets, retainers and touchstones on Valentines day. This is released over Myspace titled “With Love”
• In response, Prince Sterling orders the capture of the Anarch Leadership. The Sheriff is destroyed during this altercation though Michael Larson is captured anyway. Prince Sterling then publicly humiliates the Anarchs by Blood bonding Michael and appointing him as the new Sheriff.

2004

• SchreckNET is taken offline, many Anarch manifestos written are lost permanently
• The Sabbat begins attacking the City of Adelaide, the Civil war between the Camarilla and Anarchs go on hold to face the incoming incursion.
• Adelaide has one of the highest missing persons cases reported during this year.
• The Anarch Movement of Australia achieves a great victory as Melbourne is claimed under a Barony.

2005

• Many of the Anarch members are taken from their Havens during the day, they are never seen again. Rumours circulate that the Camarilla has broken the truce.
• The Red Comet is seen across the sky, The Sabbat leave Adelaide and many Caitiff disappear.
• The Truce between the Camarilla and Anarch Movement is officially ended when the Harpy releases a list of Boons owed to the Camarilla by the Anarchs that have been rejected or refused. The Anarchs claim ignorance of this.

2006

• The Anarchs claim Barony over Port Adelaide, Mac Grant refuses the title of Baron and passes it onto his Childe.
• The Anarchs are overwhelmed by the Blood Sorcery of the Tremere and lose Port Adelaide, along with many of their number, the Baron is assumed dead.

2009

• DUSK.COM.AU is launched, piggybacking off the Uni-SA website.

2010

• A Video is leaked online showing a member of the Red Question poisoning a Tremere rival in 2001. This is the last highly publicized act of the Red Question.
• The Conclave of Galloway convenes it is decided to ban the Anarchs from membership in the Camarilla. This is immediately actioned in Adelaide with the Anarch members being stripped of any status or boons from within the Camarilla.

2011

• Prince Sterling shows off his blood dolls during Elysium, most of which are of the 14th and 15th Generation of Vampires.

2012

• Conclaves were held in Chicago and Prague. Theo Bell assassinates Hardestadt (and possible Jan Pieterzoon) at the Prague Conclave. The Brujah formally leave the Camarilla.
• Prince Sterling is assassinated by Jacinta Moore as the Duskborn under his control are freed.
• Ashley Carmichael, the Seneschal, ascends to the position of Prince by necessity. They order the immediate Blood Hunt of all Anarchs, Duskborn and Caitiff.
• The Anarchs are slowly pushed out of their Territories and herded South. The Banu Haqim officially help the Tremere set up Wards to keep the Anarchs out of Camarilla Domains.

2013

• Clyde Russel is named Baron after helping many Anarch and Unbound vampires flee Adelaide city’s northern and central suburbs.
• The Camarilla meets with the Banu Haqim and The Ministry on the same night to weigh the merits of admission into the Camarilla. The Ministry meeting ends prematurely when a bomb levels the hotel. Facing rejection, the Ministry instead moves to align themselves with the Anarchs.
• The Camarilla reward the Banu Haqim with a place within the Camarilla.
• All communication with the London Anarchs goes quiet. There are rumours of a Camarilla conspiracy.
• Many of the Caitiff within the Anarchs rally together to be given Clan Status within the Movement.

2016

• Clyde Russel and his Coterie meet with Prince Carmichael at Elysium to discuss a treaty, Only Clyde barely returns and rumours of the Prince’s disrespect of Elysium circulates.

2017

• Youtube videos and newspaper articles in Berlin show the Masquerade is thinning. Video of the Berlin Prince being murdered by the Anarchs begins to circulate Kindred circles.

2019

• The Camarilla welcomes Clan Lasombra into their midst. Rumours circulate that each Lasombra must kill another to be welcome.
• The Previous Seneschal leaves the City, rumoured to be heading to the middle east. Sterling’s Childe Mateo Pérez is awarded the position of Seneshal.

2020

• On Christmas Day, the Anarchs learn that the Wards put in place by the Tremere and Banu Haqim have weakened.

2021

• Present Day
