Alexander Iudex Archetype: Reaper Threshold: Torn Krewe: Judge, Jury and Executioner ••••• City: Armidale ••• Title: Judge of Gallow's Court Player: Samuel Holland Storyteller: Armidale VST The Judge of Gallow's Court Appearance Alex is a middle aged man whom could be described as a manikin for the suit that he has been wearing for years. Despite this every time he greats you he will, ensure, that you notice his 'new' tailor made look. The only time that Alex isn't seen wearing his suit is during important ceremonies and at 'court'. He has beard that looks intentionally left to grow and his hair has started, to say the least, to turn a light shade of grey. In private, he is slightly insecure about this. However, if anyone where to confront him about it he'd quickly shut them down and claim that 'they'd gone colour blind'. Those whom he trusts may have seen the horror that is his scars. They cover they entirety of his torso at varying depths. Personality Harsh, but reasonable. Alex treats the defendants at the court sinisterly and without compassion, as if it has become standard, sterile, practice for him. This being said, Alex often appears lost. He is a vivid Underworld explorer and has been to depths beyond comprehension of Sin-Eaters whom aren't as in-tuned with death. For this reason he has recorded information and laws from the levels that he has visited, which he is willing to share for free to his Krewe or for favors to outsiders. He is also very passionate about protecting his, odd, fob-watch and gospel/diary that he caries around everywhere with him. If you questioned him about his archetype, or even his entire existence, he'd probably respond negatively with some self-righteous remark, such as "I didn't pick it, this is my duty!" Those who know him closely might know of his suicidal desires which are only kept at bay by his duty to Gallow's Court. Mortal World Alex is one of the public faces for Gallow's Court and arranges funerals with families of his clients. He also has expertise in medical science and prepares the cadavers for ceremonial interment. Information Known by Society Timeline In the late January of 2013 a collection of gentlemen including Alex, Seth Foreman, John Glory and Shephard bought a large mansion estate on North Hill. Since early February they and a collection of newly hired staff have been in active competition with Piddington's in the mortuary business. So far they have been successful, but only because they're previously established assets allowed them to buy far more prestigious equipment and property. Recent History DEC 2013: The residents of Gallow's Court have called for a Flesh Fair in celebration of Christmas, Saturnalia and the Yule. All the Krewes have been invited and all unaligned Sin-Eaters are welcome to join. With the halls decked with holly, the tables covered with delicious roast turkey and potatoes and with a light scent of myrrh in the air. This is shaped up to be one hell of a party!
