Personal Information

Aeron Jonson Sebrus, Devoted member of the Lancea Sanctum, Bishop of Toowoomba, of the Monachal creed, of the Unifiers faction. He was of the Hardliners, even spending a number of years in the early part of the 20th Century as an Inquisitor, until such a task took more than its fair share on his humanity. Being all but blown into pieces thanks to World War 2, he took time out to consider his purpose, revaluate himself, and restore much of that which was thought lost for all, and became a Unifier.

His past is full of travel, and searching for answers. Not long after his creation rite and embrace, his sire and coterie implemented their plans to take the Great Journey across to the new world, leaving Aeron behind to prepare the estate for transport once settled. Word of success was never received, and the coterie, feared lost. So began decades of passive searching. Asking for answers, checking options in case the letters had simply be misplaced. After resolving that he was now alone, he travelled to the other side of the globe, in his missionary work for the empowerment of the church, travelling to Australia in the 1880’s. Spending a number of years around Toowoomba and Brisbane, before heading to back to the Americas, now their civil war had subsided, a far safer time to be there, compared to his last visit. Some time was spent searching for word, in what was known as a futile exercise, however one that was necessary.

In the 1930’s, word was received that the parish of Toowoomba would receive its first Bishop, to Aeron returned to the wild continent, remaining for around a decade, helping in local political situation, both of the supernatural and of the mortal world. After this visit, his supervision of the consecration of the new and grand Cathedral, he returned to his homelands of Europe, now in the desperate throws of devastating war. Within in a few years of returning, the world fell silent, and dark, and night became years, with a mind full of doubt, regret and torment, before emerging from the world, with war now behind it, in the blink of an eye, so using what the lord had asked me to endure to strengthen me, Aeron knew I must once again, that he must focus on his purpose, on what was truly important. In 14 years of penance, and reflection, he was restored by the blessings of the lord, to a once again functional wolf, prepared again to protect the flock.

His flock, as he had come to realise, was the only place that he had put down a foundation, the only place that he had contributed in a physical sense, a tangible sense to anything of worth, and so, the journey was made back to the backwater of this earth, to a sun filled place, fertile and proud, he came home, to Toowoomba.

How to Address him

* On paper, as His Eminence, The Most Reverend Aeron Sebrus, Cardinal of Toowoomba.

Protocol

* Note that you should stand when he enters a room (until he invites you to sit) and again when he leaves it.

* Remove your hat in his presence, and you may kiss the sacred ring during both the greeting and the closing.

* If he is your own Bishop, you may kneel when kissing the ring (though bowing at the waist is also acceptable); however, do not do either if the Pope is present.

Appearance

Aeron is a larger man, with short darker hair. Almost always wearing his black clerics with white collar. Black dress shoes, trousers and a black long sleeved shirts, wearing a white collar. The only striking item about him is the large, diamond encrusted crucifix about his neck, and often, among his fellow damned, his forehead is marked with a cross of blood and ash, a symbol of our existance being little more, if not for the will of the Lord.

A satchel may be at times carried about his shoulder, carrying all manner of items pertaining to his duties. Full ceremonial garb is seldom worn, being made up of a sleeveless while Alb, with the black shirt beneath.

Personality

Aeron perhaps takes things a little too seriously, all of the time. Generally exact in his movements, and his intentions. He finds comfort in the stability of tradition, in the tried and trusted. His belief guides much of his life, and did I say he takes things pretty seriously. He expresses frustration as covenants who appear not to know their own purpose, and kindred who do not know their place. Things are, as they are, because that is how they are supposed to be. We are not here to question the will of our Lord, to force change upon his plans for the people of this world, and those who profess to know better will be judged, unworthy.

Mortal World

Aaron Sebrus is part of the Christian faith within the city. He is not associated with any specific church however is a member of the greater religious community, offering council and prayer to those most in need, bringing the message of the lord to the ailing and the homeless. Giving hope to the hopeless, sharing the Lord's light, with those who have been abandoned by a society, enthralled with materialistic things and tokens of success.

Information Known by Kindred Society

It is quite clear that Aeron is of the Lancea Sanctum. Probably always has been and from impressions, most likely, always will be. He is also of the Ventrue, but speaks little of his heritage.

Born in Europe, well over a century ago, he has done some travel around a number of continents, in that time. This last stay, is his third and most lengthy within Australia.

2014

• JAN - Supernatural hounds trouble us, under the control of a mysterious master. The city pulls at itself, almost refusing to work as one out of spite. A private council between the Prince, Sheriff and Scourge, decided that I need be appointed to Sensechal. The worst is feared by Harriet, our Sheriff. Before announcing the decision of my appointment, Prince Valdyr departed with the Knights of the Black Cross, to investigate, and with many others of the court, wage war with the hounds. Accounts are vague, but indicate that the Prince has been taken by them.
• FEB - In the absence of Charlotte, I called the city to gather, to speak together and solve the issue before us, and was surprised to see Prince Valdyr escorted back into court by the Knights of the Black Cross. Of concern was that I was not informed. Prince Valdyr confirmed my appointment to role of Senecshal, before things got out of control and time ran short a second time. Conversations were had, and our problem, that night was resolved.
• MAR - I was asked by the Prince, to conduct a full funeral mass for her lost sister Harriet. It went well apart from one notable interuption. After the service, we retired to a santuary of the Invictus, where they were to conduct their rite. It fell apart, and a visitor to the city requested assistance from all to place our Sheriff into Torpor, and later that night, he himself was surrended in Torpor. The Valdyr responded poorly.
• APR - Praxis of the city was taken. A conversation with Charlotte was necessary, and having the decision weigh hevilly upon my thoughts, and after seeking council from my Brothers, the course for me was set, and so it was on our night of gathering in April, that Prince Charlotte yeilded her praxis to the rightfull successor as Seneschal, and I delivered my Praxis speech, without incident. It was later that night when an attack of suprise occured, placing an Elder into Torpor and creating panic and speculation as the night drew to an end. After being shot, Charlotte Valdyr, now my Sheriff, was taken away by Luka and Nastasia, her family, to protect her from further harm. I have been unable to contact her since.

Future Development

I would like to establish a house of Guardian's, House Cerberus (3 headed hellhound guarding the gates of hell), which would be open to most any clans or covenants, for those only of from parent clans, no bloodlines. Goal would be to preserve and protect those things most important. Relics, artefacts, and treasures of great importance, for the survival of the future through protecting the past. Like in the Librarian TV/Movie Franchise

This may have been created during the time after the second war, as the realisation of the truly important sunk into Aeron's head. Scolars, researchers, guards, retired or reformed champions/soldiers, ex police, librarians, etc.
