Appearance

Aisaka Shakugan appears as a slender Japanese young woman dressed in a dark colored kimono with thigh high boots with a katana swinging by her side. Long black raven hair usually tie up in a single bun or two bun's. On closer view her eyes are blood shot red and long fangs. Her stare is intense, like the stare of death.

Personality

Serious, driven by punishing the corrupted , her heart is empty as empty as her stare. In social settings she's silently quiet unless theres information that is useful to her.

Before the Embrace

Aisaka Sakamoto was born in 1881 in a remote village in Japan, She was raised in a dying samurai village her family had a strong sense of family pride. Her father died when Aisaka was a young girl thorough rumors that he wasnt her real father, there were rumors thorough the village that a visiting english man had affair with Mayu Sakamoto (Aisaka's mother). Aisaka Sakamoto was brought up on buddism and christian values. Christian as her mother was learning alot about christian beliefs and brought the belief's into her house hold.

Mayu was rather distant as a mother the village would say it was the loss of her husband and the departure of her lover that made Mayu at arm's length with Aisaka as a child. Aisaka loved her grand father very much he meant the entire world to her, the village wasnt very accepting of Aisaka, nor were the children. Her grand father had always hoped for a boy as a grand son some one whom he can pass on the knowledge of samurai on. At age 10, Aisaka started training with her grand father secretly that year her mother passed away with infection it helped with the grief for Aisaka.

On Aisaka's 18th birthday her grand father presented her with her first Katana. This really upset the samurai's and boy's training to be samurai's. It broke all tradition she was a girl the village laughed at the old man training a girl. But giving her katana was a complete differnt story. Her grand father was confronted by the Samurai's and trainee's told to take the katana off Aisaka and demanded that Aisaka be training in woman ways not of man.

Her grand father refused. That night, Aisaka couldn't sleep she heard fighting in the house she ran only to be too late. Her grand father was murdered. Aisaka was emotionally destroyed everything she had in life was gone. She knew whom had done it the killing was sloppy it was the young boy's in training that had done it. That night she cutted their throats whilst they were asleep.

Then flee in to the night,the first taste of blood on her hands from there she traveled to cities and villages seeking shelter and killing any evil doers that crossed her path. She became a warrior in the dark her only means to life.

The Embrace

In 1901, her 20th year as a mortal Aisaka came to Yokohama two years of living in the dark alone and by her katana, Killing and killing and incidentally the innocent in which case's she fled. Surviving by stealing or taking up small jobs on her journey. She met Esteban Cortes in a darken corridor one cold night after her wandering's, Esteban Cortes saw a powerful ally in Aisaka. Esteban confronts her about her killing's and tells that he wont say anything to the authorities if Aisaka helps him to search for the gold Christian missionaries have stashed in return support's her hunt on her kill list. Esteban ghouls her in that year to make her a more potent combatant.

In a two year's time when all objectives are met Cortes advises Aisaka of his plans to return to Australia. Explains to Aisaka that there will be no forgiveness for her sins and crimes she has committed, not in this life or any that come after. Without direction and purpose she would likely destroy herself mentally and spiritually in a matter of years. He offers her a choice in the Embrace, she accepts. Aisaka sees this a chance to continue her work to fight the corrupted. they both set sail for Australia
