Greetings and Salutations Ancillae Voce, Influential Master Harpy of the Brisbane Court,

I submit for your pleasure, discernment, and posterity record, the observations of the Brisbane Montgomery Court, as witnessed by myself Mr Felix Parker of the Clan of Lunatics on the 14th of March 2015.

The court was hosted by the Luminescent La Belle Dame d'Lumiere, Venerated Elder of Clan Toreador as an evening of quiet solace and comfort by at the Old Elysium, The Old Museum, Spring Hill, before it was brusquely interrupted by a fire alarm that caused the hasty exodus of kindred from the site. The court was moved to the Brisbane Club and concluded there.

New Members at Court

The March court was graced by several new faces, none of whom were formally Acknowledged by announcement due to the exceedingly inconvenient evacuation. As there were a large number of guests, foreign to the Court, I must ask for the indulgence of understanding. No insult is intended by any misspelling of name or use of improper title. Corrections will be made to my records, as they are submitted. The new members awaiting formal recognition within the Brisbane Court are:

Of Clan Bruja

Jeronimo Caballero de Sevilla, Childe of the Sheriff of New Orleans, Acknowledge of New Orleans.

Savage Beast, who has not yet declared his sire or status but is known to the Nosferatu Primogen.

Of Clan Gangrel

Anne Green, Grandchilde of Brannigan the Elder.

Jack, Childe of Scotty Warlord of Brisbane.

Of Clan Malkavian

Dex childe of 'That Crazy Bitch', who’s family is recognised by Prince Montgomery of Brisbane

Kit Dimitri, childe of Dr Dimitri recently arrived from America, unacknowledged in any court.

Dr Leon Dimitri, Acknowledged and recently arrived from America, unacknowledged in any court.

Suzura childe of Hakumi Dansou, acknowledged by the Court of Queen Anne of London.

Of Clan Nosferatu Malak, who has not declared his sire or status but is known to the Nosferatu Primogen.

Of Distasteful note

Tristan the Catiff Scum who is Tolerated being in servitude to Rosamund Pike, Acknowledged of the Court of London.

The Tradition of Hospitality was extended to the previously Acknowledged as tradition dictates and to the visitors

Baro Sasha of the Ravnos and Mr Johnston of the Setites.

Declarations of Status

1. Dr Karl on behalf of Clan of Lunatics Dex was declared to be the Revered Primogen as the Auguries were good.
2. Dr Barnett who is Well-Known as the Bruja Clan Head, declared Jeronimo to be a Daredevil for his efforts against the Sabbat.

Rumours, Lies and Slander

For the discerning and influential Master Harpy to consider what constitutes scandal, listed from most creditable to least. Those that have been refuted by their betters have been noted.

1. It may not be scandalous in the form of the gathering being disrupted by the fire alarm, but it might if it was deliberate.... If true it would be a Scandal of Court: Disrespecting Elysium
2. Did an office bearer attempted to have another assassinated, and was found out?? Could be a scandal if more information was known.
3. It's possible that it may be a lie to destabilise the situation.
4. Certain people deem that the nature of their office permits them to ignore the Prince's wishes for how certain Traditions should be enforced. If true would be a Scandal of Court: Violation of Domain Protocols
5. Certain people deem that they need not mention their Sire, or where they were previously acknowledged if at all anywhere, of course they are loyal Camarilla members… just without anyone to vouch for them beyond last month.
6. A certain potential caitiff, did deliberately against the wishes of their betters drag a childe of the courts and expose them to the unwashed Anarchs... don't come back anytime soon.
7. Certain individuals choose to undertake their own activities clear ignoring an imperative on priority for actions by their betters in regard to lifting the Brisbane blockade.
8. Most people do not offer respect to their betters, but rather only to the people they are afraid of... Scandals of Behaviour: Behaviour Not Befitting One’s Station
9. At least one member of the court in a position of power should really reconsider why they broke their word to an Elder… tisk tisk This would definately be a Scandal of Behaviour: either Behaviour Not Befitting One’s Station or Reneging On a Boon or
10. Some are born to power, some achieve it, and others drape themselves over those that have it, as if to accumulate power by greater skin to skin contact …..
11. Some holders of office are pillars of the kindred by their actions... others (perhaps given office by virtue of their lineage) prefer to quote ancient philosophers and make statements to hide their incompetence and lack of actions...
12. Did I see two princes in Elysium? (Please refer to the enclosed confidential list for further detail)
13. The Ventrue Clah Head has been missing for longer than socially acceptable
14. Refuted rumor Questioning one's betters without evidence (Please refer to the enclosed confidential list for further detail)
15. The Prince, while invited to assist in the apprehension of a group of Sabbat, refused to be present (Please refer to the enclosed confidential list for further detail)

Records of Prestation Were not mentioned as the Chancellor was unavailable to record them, and an announcement by proclamation was precluded by the hasty evacuation.

This concludes the identified changes in standing and the events that would be considered celebrated, and those that may be considered ill advised. The next court will be hosted by Clan Bruja in the month of April.
