The Zelani

The Zelani are a rapidly growing Neonate family that arrived in Queensland just over a year ago. Made up of Lewis M Arlington and his descendants. They have quickly become a force of change in Queensland and have spread down the entire East Coast. With luck on their side and the fire of change in their hearts, nothing will be able to stop them.

Core Values

As a rule, the family are hardcore Carthians, through and through, and everyone who's Embraced is expected to cleave to those values, if not the Covenant. Those who don't are quickly, and quietly, exiled from the family, before their blood can transmute and they inherit Lorna's luck.

While they all share the attitudes of hardcore Carthian collectivists, that's not to say all their number are Carthians, and they've shown openness with the Ordo Dracul, Crone, and Unaligned. Even the Lance are acceptable, if a weird choice. In fact, it's only the Invictus, their ideological enemies, who are off-limits to the family outside of ill-concieved efforts to infiltrate the covenant.

At the end of the day, though, the most important thing is family, and the woman at the head of it. Regardless of old feuds, when one of them gets hit, all of them will be pulling on the boxing gloves and striding out to return the blow. With interest.

History

The family's already established an impressive and decently powerful lineage, enough so that a group of Kindred with only a couple of centuries between them can easily eclipse Invictus families dating back millenia. While a few members are old enough to remember the old, untamed frontier of America, the family only really exploded when they burst onto the burgeoning London punk scene, in the 60s. Since then, the majority of their members have been young, versatile, and incredibly modern, ranging from street punks to rebellious beauty queens.
