Appearance

A drab, haunting figure in tatters of a Victorian lace dress, her hair always wet and hanging limp about her deathly pale face and shoulders. However, when seen from the corner of the eye, Eleanor is quite different -- a monster with glowing red slitted eyes and a shark-toothed maw two feet wide. Yet turn to look directly, and she is once more simply the drab damp ordinary Eleanor.

Personality

She's a monster. No, really; she's a monster. There's not a hint of warmth, of mirth, of affection remaining in her cold, dank heart. She shambles through her unlife quite willing to throttle anything that gets in the way of the Prince, the Invictus, or herself.

Mortal World

Eleanor avoids all interactions with the mortal world, excepting those unfortunates who wade out from shore into the lake wherein she havens... and that interaction is both brief and terminal.

Information Known by Kindred Society

Eleanor seems to have been Embraced sometime around the American Civil War, though nailing down any particulars has proven difficult. Apparently, she traveled to Iowa from Virginia shortly before the end of the 19th century... and shortly thereafter became trapped in a collapsed foundation, where she alternated between dining on rats and slumbering for the better part of a century. She emerged in Ames into a world quite changed, and as something of an oddity in the local court. Still, she proved herself useful to the First Estate, and in short order took on the role of Reeve. She continues to serve as such for Prince Richetta Massaro.
