Appearance

There was something oddly familiar about the way Father Michael dressed, conservative with a desperate hint of trying to be relatable or cool, that was it, he looked like the try hard social worker in American sitcoms and movies.

Personality

There is a nervousness about the priests normal behavior, a reluctance to look you in the eye, that you are confident would have attracted bullies when he was younger. All this vanished as soon as he is speaking about God’s Plan, a fervor is present in his voice and he stands a little taller.

Mortal World

Father Michael, while not famous is a well-known councilor, catholic priest and tender of the poor and destitute, most nights he can be found walking the streets searching for those in need.

Information Known by Kindred Society

Father Michael uses his own life’s journey as an example of how faith and God’s plan has helped him throughout his life. He normally starts with the death of his father at a very young, a work place accident that killed 3. The priest highlights that if it wasn’t for the community of their church coming together to help the family get back on their feet they would have ended up destitute like the other two families, three of the kids ending up as drug addicts and dying.

The next major chapter he talks about is his time in his primary school, where he now understands the teacher had been grooming him and other boys, not that he knew that at the time, they all thought he was just a cool teacher. Before the teacher got the chance like he did to the other boys he was given a scholarship to private catholic boarding school.

Another important parable of his life he uses is the temptation of the flesh while attending college, this pretty girl from a nearby all-girls school had shown some interest in him and he had been very tempted. After guidance from his priest he kept his purity, one of his friends did not, he later died in a car accident with the girl during a secret date.

Better entering the seminary and just after receiving his degree in psychology and counselling, he went on a mission to Africa. While they were there some type of epidemic spread through several of the nearby villages that had not committed themselves to god. It was spread through the sins of the flesh they committed and blood from their addiction to drugs. Seeing how god protected those who stayed faithful and those who did not suffered was an important part of the motivation to enter the seminary so he could save people by converting them to faith and following God’s plan.

Perhaps the greatest tribulation Father Michael tells people is of his time as a revenant, he had been delivering succor to the poor and hungry when he first came across a kindred. They anointed him with the trial of being a Revenant, a time separated from god, where the beast ruled his mind each evening when he woke. Parted from God he the committed horrible sins of murder, destruction and spreading the separation onto others. No matter what he did nothing would allow him to stop the madness and the separation from God’s plan. But at this lowest point, did he come across a Lancea Sanctum church and sat through a mass. Hope filled his heart and soul as he saw the miracles of faith before his eyes. He leapt up and asked to be baptised into the Laneca Sanctum. He worked for the church for many years bring faith to his fellow revenants, until he was eventually uplifted to a Ventrue.
