Appearance

Rex is a larger male, 170 cm with dark, short hair and dark eyes. He looks like a corpse in most senses of the word; His teeth are pointed, his gums drawn back from the lining, and his skin is sallow and clings to his face in the same way the skin of a corpse clings to the skull. Rex has always loved to dress well; with his upper-middle-class background he prefers to dress as if he is going to either a business meeting or a funeral. To combat the corpse-like appearance, he tends to wear a red mask in public. It covers all but his mouth, as whilst he likes to hide his expression, it is hard to talk and be understood with your mouth obscured.

Rex is always well dressed; in public, he wears a suit and tie, with a white dress shirt. He wears his own pin, a white, embellished plume on a red background, and the eye-pendant his sire gave him is strung around his neck. Rex hates to touch anything with his bare hands unless that thing is due for… ‘personal attention’. He takes the phrase ‘gloves off’ very literally. He also does not shake hands, unless he feels that a person has 'earned' it. To date, he has only shaken the hands of 2 people in Australia.

Personality

When Rex is anxious, worried, or lost, he tends to play with his pendant. He loves to use his hands, and most of his emotions are displayed with the hands more than anything else.

When he is angry, he tends to clench and unclench his fist, but other than that he tends to hide it as best he can. When he is trying to control his temper, he will adjust his gloves to make sure that they are secure on his hands.

He uses nightmare as a bludgeoning tool for the supernatural because it’s quicker than torture. Rex hates to be called by his first name by anyone other than those whom he has given permission to… and his sire. It doesn’t matter how superior a Vampire is, unless you have earned it, it’s last name only.

Rex also is obsessed with the colour red. He speaks with an English accent, but his native accent is cockney.

Rex likes to use fear to distribute ‘justice’ to those that are deserving. He knows that he is a monster, and through intense conditioning and time with his sire, he has come to the conclusion that he is a monster because he was intended to use his gifts to show those that deserve it the fear and horror that they have inflicted on others.

Rex also has a rather bizarre, but strong moral code. Abusers, (especially sexual predators), and those that are in positions of power that treat underlings badly are his particular targets.
