Morgan Kane
Personal Information
Joined the Foreign Legion in 1910, served for eight years fighting first in North Africa then the Western Front. In 1919 became involved in the Russian Civil War fighting on the side of the Whites as part of the effort by the Western powers to prevent the Bolsheviks from consolidating their power. Left Russia in 1921 and ended up in China working for a gun runner in Shanghai. Spent five years in Shanghai before deciding to catch a boat back home to Sydney. Arriving in late 1926 he hooked up with a book makers syndicate working as an enforcer; in 1929 as the Depression was in its first year someone embraced him. (These memories are vague recollections - and he has no memory of embrace, who embraced him or its circumstances). From his embrace onwards Morgan has more concrete impressions - his 'life' as one of the Damned seems more concrete, more real though he has no idea why. Since then he has spent his time traveling various locales on the east coast working for various 'clients'. In this time he's managed to broaden his knowledge, improve his ability to ferret out information as well as gaining some insight into the supernatural elements of his 'new' existence. The years haven't improved his social skills though - he's still something of a curmudgeon. He prefers to remain in the New England area although every now and then the urge takes him to travel, or else he gets an out of town job. If he isn't traveling he generally just lies low & takes things easy...
Appearance
Stocky build with short dark brown hair, a goatee beard, grey green eyes and a tanned complexion. Dresses in what could be described as 'biker chic' - black t shirt, black jeans, black steel toe capped boots, black leather jacket.
