Appearance
This guy puts you in mind of an impenetrable fortress. He has deep-set eyes the color of varnished wood. His fine, wavy, hair is medium-length and is worn in a practical style. He is quite lithe and has an athletic build. He has Hungarian/ Romanian features. His wardrobe was dark and mysterious, often with a lot of purple. Who know what he would wear now? He has not been seen since 1915.
Personality
Nicolaus is your traditional Invictus, if not your typical Ventrue. His Aspirations for personal power sacrificed to serving the Covenant. Known for his adherance to Justice - he soon Became a widely respected Judex. Power for the Covenant consolodated when he took the city of Kassa (Modern day Košice), becoming the first Prince. He is known to be intense, sometimes unpredictable, often Narcisistic and once dedicated to a course of action, unsvervingly dedicated. It was known that he was extremely controlling of his childe Isobel he was prone to jealous rage if she paid more attention to kindred other than he. She never said a bad word against her Sire.
Mortal World
Not much is known about Nicolaus in the mortal world. Born into the line of the Voivode's of Transylvania, he is believed to have perished in battle some time in the late 1700's.
Timeline
1755 - Born Károlyi Castle
1785 - Embraced by Dr James Hartleigh
1794 - Takes the City of Kassa in Felvidék (Upper Hungary). Becomes Duke of Kassa.
1894 - Travels to London
1898 - Embraces Isobel Bryce-Ashmore
1901 - takes his still unreased childe to Melbourne, Australia
1902- Releases Isobel
1904-1905 - Moves with his childe to Port Arthur, on the Liaodong Peninsula (Russo-Japanese war)
1904 - Embraces Jue Wong (does not introduce his two childer)
1905- Leaves Port Arthur and returns to Melbourne, takes Isobel, but lets Jue go her own way
1915 - Enters Torpor
