Appearance
The most notable thing about Sergei is that there is not much noticeable about him at first glance. Average height, short mousy brown hair, brown eyes and whatever clothing seems to fit with what is happening, Sergei is often overlooked. It is not clear if this is intentional to avoid notice or if Sergei just likes to try to fit in.
Personality
Sergei is a softly spoken congenial kindred that seems to value stability and a good conversational debate. With a relatively harmless demeanor many have underestimated Sergei much to their detriment when they crossed him. Others seem to believe his congenial nature is a cover for a deeply devious agenda and attribute him with far greater manipulative prowess than evidence suggests. Either way, Sergei appears to be either alarmingly honest or a schemer of Machiavellian magnitude, many have argued as to which is more dangerous.
Mortal World
What few in the mortal world know Sergei remember him as academic recluse that visited libraries late. In more recent times Sergei is a congenial academic that runs online courses and small group tutorials after hours as well as a prolific researcher. Rumour has it he either has porphyria or severe heliophobia.

Timeline
- Pre1936 - Sergei claims to have immigrated from Stalinist Russia although this has never been confirmed, his history from before this is not known to Kindred in Australia as far as he knows. (contact me if your character was in eastern Europe prior to this and I will inform you of other information associated with Sergei Ravanov from this time).
- 1936 - Sergei arrives in the Court of Armidale and seek permission from Prince Harald to settle.
- 1938 - Sergei is instrumental in the establishment of the New England University College and becomes one of its first patrons.
- 1977 - Sergei disappears from public view.
- 2013 - Sergei reappears in Armidale.
Recent (Game) History
2013
- JUN - Sergei turns up at court for the first time in 41 years. Becomes alarmed at recent events and through a series of favours and exchanges becomes appointed Seneschal.
- JUL - Sergei brings together the local Carthian, setting up Arckturus as Marshal to lead the local members so that he could in the short term focus on assisting the Prince deal with threats to the domain.
- AUG - Sergei attends the Ceremony being hosted by the Lancea Sanctum Bishop to awakening the Salt Man to deliver 2 new edicts given by the Prince.
- SEP - Is a witness for the contract for the Bishop Grendel Volmark signing a blood contract pledging absolute loyalty to the Prince.
- OCT - Attends National Conclave.
- NOV - Successfully negotiates on behalf of the Carthians in return for supporting Mr Cortes Praxis claim. Retains position of Seneschal, becomes Prefect of the local Carthians and is appointed to the Primogen Carthian.
