Zubov Line

The Zubovs were an ancient family of good standing, first noticed in the service of Muscovite dukes in the 15th century. Nikolay Vasilievich Zubov (1699–1786) served in the Collegium of Economics, and his son Alexander Zubov (1727–1795) was reputed to have enriched himself serving as Vice-Governor of Vladimir.

Behind the kinfolk front of the family that is known through history is a line of powerful Shadow Lords who served and often challenged the Silverfang Kings of Russia. While there has been many leaders of the family line, the greatest of them have always been born under the philidox moon.

Well Known Members:

• Alexander "Forges Lightning" Zubov (1300-1385) - Disowned by his older brother, renamed himself Zubov after marrying above his status and taking his wives surname. Years later is called to judge his brother, declares his fallen and his line corrupt.

• Nikolay "Shadow Judgement" Zubov (1453-1498) - Known member of the Judges of Doom, rumoured to have wiped out a whole sept of Silverfangs for wide spread corruption and breachs of the litney.

• Dmitry "Storm Binder" Zubov (1645-1665) - Angry about having been passed up for leadership of the family, traveled across the world serving the wyrm, spreading drought and famine by collecting and torturing the spirits of powerful storms.

Rumours about the Line:

• The family is cursed, and all those not born under the philidox moon are doomed to be failures;
• Only Philidox are born to the family line now; and
• All children born under other moons are killed at birth.
