Appearance

Rex is a larger male, 170 cm with dark, short hair and dark eyes. He looks like a corpse in most senses of the word; His teeth are pointed, his gums drawn back from the lining, and his skin is sallow and clings to his face in the same way the skin of a corpse clings to the skull. Rex has always loved to dress well; with his upper-middle class background he prefers to dress as if he is going to either a business-meeting or a funeral. To combat the corpse-like appearance, he tends to wear a red mask in public. It covers all but his mouth, as whilst he likes to hide his expression, it is hard to talk and be understood with your mouth obscured.

Rex is always well dressed; in public he wears a suit and tie, with a white dress shirt. He wears his own pin, a white, embellished plume on a red background, and the eye-pendant his sire gave him is strung around his neck. Rex hates to touch anything with his bare hands, unless that thing is due for… ‘personal attention’. He takes the phrase ‘gloves off’ very literally. He also does not shake hands, unless he feels that a person has 'earned' it. To date, he has only shaken the hands of 2 people in Australia.

Personality

Leviticus is, besides his own sire and ghoul, the only person he allows to call him Rex. He is prim, proper and mannerly to a fault, to the point where he prefers to be overdressed for a situation rather than under. He is very British in an old fashioned way. Frankly said, Rex is a bit of a sociopath. He sees how others work and uses what makes them either feel safest and most comfortable, or frightened and the weakest against a person. He thinks of those beneath him as mere objects, until they can do something for him. He thinks of those above him as things to be struggled against, overcome and respect.

Rex hates to be called by his first name by anyone other than those whom he has given permission to… and his sire. It doesn’t matter how superior a Vampire is, unless you have earned it, it’s last name only.

His outward manner is that of a follower. He is subservient, polite, and willing to support other's ideas (at least outwardly). He is taciturn and cold most of the time, but that is never a personal thing. The only one he has ever shown real warmth towards would be Red, in rare moments, and his sire.

Inside, Rex sees himself as a bridge between the 'low' and the 'high'. He may dress well and act posh, but he prefers to deal with those that others may see as scum, or criminals. He uses these people to accomplish his goals, attending to their needs and emotions only as long as they serve him.
