Appearance
Nicky dresses herself in an almost decadently punk fashion; a lot of her attire calls back to they heydey of the 80s. She probably has a bit too much denim and leather in her wardrobe for modern fashion, but nobody's really going to call her out on it, are they? She favors heavy black makeup around her eyes and dark lipstick that clashes, spectacularly, with her pale skin and blonde hair.
Personality
Nicky's as 'Unvictus' as it's possible for a member of the First Estate to be. She's gentle, easy-going, and doesn't cling to the formality and titles a lot of the Invictus do. While she's formal when it's time for pomp and ceremony, in her own time, she's a wild-child and punk, and nobody's taking that away from her - not even her liege.
Mortal World
A former European punk, Nicky used to command a significant army of influence over the streets of the Invictus' cities, harnessing counter-culture movements and putting them to the First Estate's ends. Now that she's moved halfway across the world to make a fresh start, she's got a lot of building up to do.

History in Brief
- 1961: Born, in Manchester, England
- 1973: Starts avoiding familial expectations, and falls into London's burgeoning punk scene.
- 1976: Joins up with a local London punk band and moves out of home, lying about her age.
- 1976 - 1977: Parties hard, enjoying drugs, and rock and roll. Supplements her allowance from her parents with sex work.
- 1977: Ghouled
- 1998: Embraced
- 1999: Randy Priest makes his ill-fated Praxis claim.
- 1999-2005: Trains under the London Invictus, heavily. Remains under the firm tutelage of her Sire.
- 2005: Completes Manumission.
- 2005-2010: Becomes a Journeyman of the Guild of the Octopus, and a quiet, consistent, if informal presence in London's court. Starts to reestablish her own identity.
- 2011: Leaves London, and moves to Kiev, Ukraine, to assist the Invictus Praxis there.
- 2014: The Ukraine Revolution occurs, and her time is spent frantically putting out fires.
- 2016: Observing the rising nationalist sentiment in the US and Russia, and the hotspot that is Crimea, the majority of foreign Kindred flee Kiev, leaving it to the small native Kindred population.
- 2017: Moves to the least-nationalist Western nation in the world - Australia.
Timeline
Nicky was born in Manchester, London, the middle child of a wealthy middle-class family, born with a silver spoon in her mouth, which she hastily discarded once she came of age. Throwing herself into the punk and rock scene of London in the 80s, she became a minor influential figure thanks to the generous allowance her family provided their wayward daughter, which she supplemented with sex work. By 1993, observing the rapid rise of the Movement and their influence in the burgeoning punk scene, the Invictus wanted someone to avert a potential disaster. Nicky was Ghouled, and spent the majority of her time struggling to keep as much of London's counter-culture under her thumb, and away from the Carthians, as possible.

She spent a significant amount of her time under her Sire's thumb, squirming and struggling to establish her own identity, but eventually got free. She survived, just, and tried her best to be the opposite of the worst characteristics of her Covenant. Where they were stoic, and unchanging, she was kind and flexible. They struggled to be warm and interact with the lower levels of Kindred society, but she spent all her time there. She managed to get away with it by claiming the title of Advocate, and hasn't looked back.
Eventually, London's vibrant underground was gentrified and lost. When the Invictus' neighbors in mainland Europe needed additional assistance, Nicky decided to re-establish herself there - and, hopefully, be able to attend a meeting of the First Estate without the Inner Circle awkwardly insisting on referring to her as 'Madam Ashley-Cooper'.
Invictus
An Invictus' induction impresses the importance of ettiquette and titles, and the protocols of the Covenant, and Nicky did manage to pass the requisite tests, acting as an upright and stalward member of the Invictus - but once released, on her own, she toned it down, becoming far more causal.
She's still managed to continue her development in her Covenant, and her popularity outside of the First Estate has certainly given her some allowances other Advocates might not be able to make. Over the years, she's firmly established that her way of doing things still fit in the First Estate, even if it is very liberal and modern, two terms the Invictus hate. The end result leaves her accepted, and acknowledged as a member of her Covenant, but by no means idolized by the leadership of the First Estate.
Recent History
With the recent insurgence in national politics, and the dangers that come with it, Nicky's been forced to abandon mainland Europe - she's picked up the Invictus habit of playing her hand very, very safely. Unfortunaely, that's left her aimless and without anywhere to call home.
London is too formal and constrained for her to feel truly at home among its members, and she has no desire to spend time in the city, watching the ghosts of old friends and good times drift by. She's accepted that she's getting older, and is on the verge of becoming an ancillae, but can't help but feel uncomfortable at the thought of becoming stagnant, and constantly longing for her 'glory days', when she'd hand out fliers for women's rights that modern women almost want to hand back.
She's forced herself out of her comfort zone, and moved to Australia. Only time will tell if it's a succesful decision.
