The Basterds Brigade

Backstory

A legacy coterie that has existed multiple times across the years with all manner of different kindred joining and leaving its ranks as they were needed.

For the most part the Basterds exist as a specialized counter Sabbat squad - they rely on forming an small group with an incredibly tightly knit bond where every member is more that willing to sacrifice themself for another. The squad is highly coordinated with every one knowing eachothers strengths and weaknesses so that they can cover eachothers blindspots.

Iterations

First Brigade 1916 - 1919

After seeing the chaos that was brewing all around him and noticing the Sabbat taking full advantage of it, a young Teddy chose to unit fellow like-minded kindred to form the first ever Basterd Brigade in France.

Second Brigade 1939 - 1945

Again as the world descended into war and chaos the Sabbat rose up and Teddy re-formed the Basterd Brigade.

Third Brigade 1954 - 1960

After returning to his home country Teddy found that there were pockets of Sabbat scattered all across the U.S.A and in response he created a mobile unit of Basterds. This Brigade was one of the smallest but also one of the most efficient. Eventually collapsed and disbanded due to family based issues involving several members.

Fourth Brigade 1983 - 1986

The only time the Basterds have been formed to not fight the Sabbat but instead battle the Anarchs after they declared war on the Camarilla of Brisbane.

Fifth Brigade 2013-2015

When the Sabbat came to Brisbane on that bloody night in July Teddy began re-building the Basterds alongside his friend Dr. Karl.

With Teddy missing, Francisco killed at the hands of both Sabbat and Hunters, and many of the members missing or retired, the Bastard Brigade finally folds.
