Cabal Background

The Counter-Threat cabal was founded specifically to serve as the Sentinel cabal of Canberra. A union of Mysterium and Guardian of the Veil interests, the Counter-Threat cabal provides strategic planning, information gathering, threat containment and combat skills to the Consilium of Canberra.

Sanctum

The location of SITE ZERO is not known to Mages outside this cabal.

Members

Former Members

Gone into hiding to protect herself after becoming known to Banishers and law enforcement. Considered dead by Sleeper society.
Left to form her own Apostate cabal.
Left to establish an Adamantine Arrow cabal after an influx of Arrow into the city.

Deceased

Wrongfully executed for crimes committed while possessed. The botched disposal of her body, and its subsequent resurrection as a spirit-possessed revenant with Supernal powers led to a Silver Law ban on anyone other than a Sentinel disposing of a Pentacle Mage's body.

Practices and Protocols

BLACK CHAMBER

No information regarding BLACK CHAMBER is publicly available at this time.

GRACEFUL EXIT

GRACEFUL EXIT is to be enacted in the instance of a Pentacle Mage dying within the territories of the Consilium of Canberra:

  1. The body must be checked with Supernal Sight for any active effects currently present on or within the body. Effects determined to be potentially harmful and any active effects not tied to an item carried on or within the body must be immediately neutralised.
  2. If the cause of death was not witnessed by multiple Mages with standing in the Consilium of Canberra, the body's immediate timeline must be surveyed for further information. Should an immediate threat be identified as part of this process, the Council should be engaged immediately.
  3. Any remaining supernatural items on or within the body must be returned to the Mage's cabal, or in the case of Mages without a cabal, be turned over to the Council to be held in trust while appropriate determination of any rights of inheritance are carried out.
  4. If the Mage does not belong to a cabal, a further timeline check must be made to determine the location of the Mage's Sanctum and/or place of residence and along with details regarding any security or defenses said location may have.
  5. The body must be utterly destroyed, such that there are no remains that can be used against the Consilium in any capacity.

Upon completion of GRACEFUL EXIT, a full information report must be made to the Council informing them of all information obtained, items recovered and actions taken while enacting this protocol.
