Mien: : An unnaturally lithe and flexible girl with a sweet grin that has something behind it- the emotion is difficult to place, but you know something is not quite natural about it. Her eyes are a clear blue that seem to radiate a desperate friendliness, as though all she wants is to be your friend, even when her stance is hard and she tries to push you away.

Mantle: There is a sense of strangeness, like a horror movie where the killer emerges from the shadows of a crisp autumn night and into a pool of moonlight, and sometimes a stray orange leaf will flutter past as she walks.

Arcadia

The past cannot be cured

What people know is that she was the play-mate of the True Fae known as The Ring Master, who went by many names by Hayley. She was his star act, his beautiful assistant and his play thing. She and her brother Jax Quinn were taken to The Carnival and became the main attractions amongst the bright, devilish circus of Arcadia. Hayley doesn't like to speak about what happened to her while she was there, and her happy demeanor always falls away to reveal a girl still trying desperately glue all the broken pieces of her heart and soul and mind back together when the topic of her Durance is brought up.

It has been revealed that it was Ivy and Jax who dragged her out, who convinced her to leave Arcadia and return to the Real World. With Ivy taken by Loyalists in recent months, something within Hayley seems to have snapped, some kind of strength that kept her calm and kind and happy. The bounce in her step is gone, and her eyes are getting a little harder as the days go by and Ivy isn't returned to the Freehold. The memories of her time in The Carnival seem to be consuming Hayley, and it remains to be seen whether she can pulled back from this brink.

Escape

Ivy and Jax escaped the Hedge into Brisbane in 2008, her face cut open into a Glasgow Smile that remains as faint scars to this day- even Spring contracts can only heal so much. Within her vetting process it was discovered that she had an affinity for and understanding of Fear, and so Hayley was brought into the Autumn Court with her brother and her best friend. The trio were part of one of the Autumn vassalage motleys for two years and had been looking at making a motley together when the Nightmares of 2010 happened and Hayley was discovered to have particularly strong Oneiromantic abilities. Taken in by Black Rook after his entire motley was destroyed during the Nightmares, Jax and Ivy were upset that Hayley never made a motley with them like they had planned. Since then there was an unresolved tension between the three, which Hayley figured would be fixed with time.

Sometimes, we don't have time. Sometimes, Fate has different plans.
