The Regent is elected representative of the Monarchs - ruling the Freehold for a Six Months at a time:
- Maintain order and civility between the Courts and Motleys
- Lead the Freehold in the conflict with the Loyalists and other servants of The Others
- Protect the members of the Freehold from external threats
- Work with the Monarchs
- Establish the level of interraction for foreign creatures, such as the Loyalists and Goblins.
This position is unique to Brisbane as a result of their local history, there have only been four Regent elections to date.
