Appearance

Mask: Tree appears as a scruffy outdoors-man complete with flannelette shirt, dirt stained jeans and hiking boots. what little of his skin shows appears leathery and weathered. His overgrown beard and hair are dark green, almost black, most people assume it has been dyed.

Mien: He is an oversized creature, more tree than man. His skin is entirely rough bark, his beard is comprised of moss and lichen, and hair has been replaces with an array of fern leaves. If he were to stand perfectly still with eyes closed it would take a trained eye to see him in a forest.

Mantle: Occasionally some of the leaves comprising his "hair" turn golden and fall away, however there never seems to be any less of it.

Personality

Tree is inquisitive, always trying to learn more about this "new" world he has found himself in. He may appear naive or even stupid as he asks a lot of questions about things others take for granted as he learns. He is not as stupid as people think, nor does he feel any need to correct people of thaat assumption.

He prefers the outdoors, and while he yearns to learn more about the humans and the mundane world, he has no desire to join it, preferring to take the role of an observer. He is not overly keep on axes or fire. He sees the needless destruction of the natural environment as a crime against the world.

He is feircly protective of those he considers family, however does not see himself as much of a fighter. He relies of wits and stealth to survive.

Mortal World

Tree's memories of the mortal world are repressed under a layer of denial. His interactions within it have been somewhat limited. Until he lost the ability to play the pan pipes he would busk as a way to watch the world. There was one unfortunate incident where he was arrested for "liberating" saplings from th slave pits he has now been told is a plant nursery.

Failing to remember his past does not mean there isn't one.

Arcadia

Tree's time in Arcadia was unlike some, rather peaceful. He was one of many "trees" planted in a grove by the True Faye known as The Druid. Periodically cuttings were made off Tree and his brothers by The Druid for his experiments, but other then this he and his were mostly left to themselves.

Escape

The Druid, apparently angered by the failure in his experiments decided to wipe ut the grove and start again. To do so he lit a fire in the forest, that swiftly spread and engulfed the grove. Tree and one of his brothers ripped themselves free of their roots and ran from the blaze, stumbling almost accidentally into the Hedge, being dragged by Brother Tree.

He and Brother dwelt in this new "world" they fell into. And managed to survive for six months in the thorns before accidentally finding a gate to the mundane world. Tree decided to explore yet another new world, however Brother Tree was too weak from his ordeal to accompany him. In order to remain close to his kin, Tree would make brief visits to the mundane world, returning to the thorns to check in on his kin.

It was during this time Tree was discovered byGeorgia Meadows and Rowan Ulferson of the Toowoomba freehold. They took tree under their wings and brough him more into the mundane. Brother Tree was never able to leave the thorns, and is now silently slumbering in Tree's Hollow, almost indistinguishable from the other trees present.
