Glowing Cliffs
- One of the reasons the Brisbane Necropolis was sustained by Stygia was it was one of the few locations where Death Ore pushed through the crust of an Island in the Tempest and presented as a havestable resource. The deposit was substantial in its day but continuous mining, mirroring the quarrying carried out for early building materials for the colony, has all but depleted the resource. The small deposits still give the cliffs a pinkish, throbbing glow akin to the what is reported in the chambers of the Veinous Stair. While commercial amounts of Dark Ore are depleted, the truly dedicated can gather small amounts with considerable effort. On most nights, you can see the miners moving about the cliffs seeking out what small amounts of the precious material can be gleaned.
