Personal Information

A Victorian lady from Western Ireland turned in 1847 and Embraced in 1867 she is a member of the Neglatu Bloodline

Appearance

Katelyn is of average height and weight with greenish brown eyes and brown hair almost always tied back from her face usually in a bun. She is of Irish decent with pale skin made paler by the lack of blood. Her manner of dress varies, her favorite outfit is a simple brown silk maxi skirt and white Victorian style blouse over a reinforced corset. She wears practical black dress boots and a small gold chain around her throat, she carries a cane with a dragon handle. She has a tattoo on the back of her right shoulder and an intricate pattern of on scars the top of her left arm.

Personality

A proper and upright lady she speaks like a politician though she despises politics she wears a golden cross and is from Ireland but she is by no means religious. Despite the rumors she is fiercely protective of her "children". She is studious and witty and has an amazing ability to talk her way out of most issues. She is not a fighter preferring to find a diplomatic or peaceful solution to any issue.

Mortal World

She owns a house on the wrong side of the tracks, if your alone and scared if your sick or broken its the safest place to go. She will give you food, medicine, money if you need it, Just don't be rude or cruel and don't touch her children... no ones gone missing in a while we kinda prefer it that way.

She has traveled a lot but was only released recently. Her children... well their children ... its disturbing. She seems to have a preference for the children's blood its unseemly but what can be done about it. She havens near the Railway line if you find or accidentally create a revenant shes the one to talk to ... best not to ask what she does with them but she makes the problem go away. She could sell Ice to eskimos and if you want to kill her, best to do it in her sleep lest she talk you out of it. When shes under stress her voice goes Irish maybe shes from there. Shes unaligned.

Timeline

4 July 1828 – (0)Born to Katarina and James Gallagher (her father was an agent for Ulick de Burgh, 1st Marquess of Clanricarde, a stern but fair man, retired from the army, who would not accept the mewling of those who did not work but would on occasion make exception for one whose bad luck was not due to their behaviour. He employed a number of clerks his mother having been one before they married. Katelyn spent her formative years surrounded by the busy working of the estate office. Her mother was a hard working lady sweet but intensely private she did her best to keep her child away from the tennants it was a point of debate between the two)

13 May 1834 – (5) Her brother is Born
14 May 1835 – (6) She slips away from her mother and tutor escaping into the fields to talk play with the children of the tenants. (her father and mother feared her dead resent tensions connected to the tithe wars where increasing even in their area. When she returned home muddy and beaming she was meat by raised voices and a beating)
23 September 1836 – (8) Her sister is born (her mother dies in childbirth, for months a dark cloud lingers over the house a young matron and wet nurse is hired to care for the children)
14 February 1837 – (8) She goes with her father instead of staying with the nurse (she watches her father evict a family with whose son she was friends from there home she declares that this is wrong her father tries to explain to her why it is the way it is but she is still a child she refuses to him for almost a week)

30 April 1837 – (8) Her father for the first time allows her into his study (a room filled with shelf upon shelf of books far to complex for her to read she falls in love with the feel of them regardless and vows to read every one of them)
30 July 1838 – (10) She begins to question god (first to her tutor then to her father her father is furious he punishes her and fires the tutor insisting it is his fault she is thinking in such dangerous ways she decides she does not believe not without proof)
7 April 1839 – (10) She is introduced to the Marquess (It is not good news the man is bankrupt his lands are no longer his they could stay but there would be no more work, her father is a proud man he will not stay if he is not ding a job there is a level of respect between the two men stifled by formality her father moves them and their nurse maid to a smaller house a farm house they become middle men. Her father brings with him a few books from his extensive library and he teaches her from them)
30 May 1845 – (16) her father arranges for her to marry a man (he is course abrasive arrogant but the marriage would ensure her livelihood prosperity they argue she screams at her father that she wont do it he yells back that if thats the case he can get out of his home live on the street it doesn't matter. Her brother tries to calm the situation but she packs her things taking the books saved from the last house and leaves walking all the way into town to the work house)
30 December 1845 – (17) She is unofficially employed as the School mistress of the work house (she teaches the children from her old and warn tombs how to read and write and how to count and do basic maths she watched nervously as reports of a great potato blight began to surface remembering stories her father used to tell about last time but surely it couldn't be so bad.
3 December 1847 – (19) she is turned (sickness spread like wild fire through the work house, they set up a sick ward, a death ward, more and more starving people came streaming in more children more fever victims. Her children, the ones she had taught for years where ill what was she to do she sat by their sides she held their hands she wiped away the sweet from their brows eventually she got sick. That night she was sitting next to one of the children when they came tall and yelling in rough voices she grabbed the nearest weapon she could find, a broom, people where screaming she stood up to a man Tattooed with dark hair and eyes carrying an axe as big as her like it was nothing (Gaspar Acosta Da Blanca)... she stood not chance but she had to try and defend her children, for the first time in years she prayed to god... it went as expected.)
6 December 1847 – She opens her eyes and everything is black she cant move the weight is pushing on her from all sides and all she knows is she is starving ( she claws her way out of the earth stumbling back towards the workhouse it is home it calls her she can hear their heart beats making the very air thrum she crawls through a window mindless desperation driving her one man then another they die without a sound and she feasts the blood filling her until she is full until the beast retreats two men lay dead pale and still small pools of red blood dripping from mutilated throats… she looks at what she has done and she is horrified she turns to flee a devil a deamon what has happened to her. Some one calls out but she doesn't stop she runs, back to where she was safe back to home.

20 December 1847 – her sire finds her (her nights are horror night after night she wakes shivering and covered in blood only to have the beast rise starving from inside her throwing herself on human and animal alike she kills them … eventually he finds her cowering in the corner of a darkened estate office she is dirty disheveled nothing like the girl she was but he knows its her he speaks gently, he explains what he can he comforts her and he offers her a home, to be part of his brood, he tells her she will never have to be hungry again. She goes willingly, the first wash in weeks is glorious as the gore slops off her she starts to rebuild herself)
6 March 1867 – Her sire uplifts her (his brood is growing to big and with the recent massacre in galway blood is short also she has read all the books in his library and she is impatient he can see that. he sends her to travel with Yr Ysgolhaig to learn from him. her sire sets her the task to chase the tale of the Irish revolution)
9 March 1867 – She returns to him briefly to tell him of the revolutions failure (he listens to her report quietly then admonishes her “truly do you think the tail ends here keep chasing maybe you will learn something” he suggests looks from another view and then if nothing presents itself enact a change but to do so carefully “change is pointless unless it is done with intent” and to be ready at that point “you are part of the thing indelibly linked you have seen how the ripples spread” he sets her back on the tale. He teaches her patience)

1 April 1870 – she is lonely she finds a revenant child (and takes him in an young boy named Christoph she takes him in as her sire took her in but this causes an argument with Yr Ysgolhaig who kills the boy. She breaks contact with him)
16 May 1874 - Isolated and alone she comes across another revenant child (again she claims him keeping him by her side through the years his name is Thomas O'Dwyre)
19 august 1890 – She creates her first revenant (a young girl called Tahlia Fairchild she is a street child, sick as she was when she was turned)

7 December 1910 – Begins to feed more carefully using needles and injections (as the prevalence of typhoid began to fade she became aware that she acted as a vector for the disease she contacts her sire requesting leave from her study o find a solution it is granted)
2 January 1930 – Attempts to rid her self of Typhoid (by feeding only from individuals who are undergoing treatment for the condition, antibiotics. She spends a few incredibly painful nights as the antibiotics interact with her system eating away at it from the inside.)
28 May 1935 – Briefly returns to Ireland and her sire and enters torpor (whilst clearing her body of blood in an effort to remove the Typhoid bacterium from her system. Her sire wakes her feeding her clean blood)

1939 – 1945 – she witnesses World war two
29 August 1949 – she returns to her sire to report her observations (he praises her for all that she has seen and recorded for all that she has learned and he welcomes her into the Ordo Dracul and he begins to teach her)

Her mentor changes many times over the next few years a test preparing her for the changes to come she is sent around the world sometimes she would stay a year sometimes a week or even just a day she starts to grow tired of the demands she begins to question if this is not all just some scam. She is taught disciplines skills and meditation but she is still no closer to the goal she has more children. And when her sire falls to torpour she takes on his revenants to (Open for Character ties)

15 May 1992 – She takes a young boy called Thomas from a church in Ireland latter having one of her lower humanity mentors turn him to a revenant
30 December 1999 - she enters her first chrysalis (sitting on the roof of the world trade center in a nest she had to give much for this opportunity she has changed much she still can not shake the doubt that maybe this is for naught her mentor watches her just in case)
1 January 2000 – She succeeds (the rush is undeniable, and she is hooked she has done it she is so exited se vows to continue her studies her evolution she is granted the tile of supplicant and learns about the myth of Dracula and his wives three sires... she decides to make this her great work to see one of her children uplifted to such power)
13 June 2001 – She travels to Australia landing in Sydney
