- Guild lore defines what a guild member would know and be able to find out. There is some knowledge known by all Guild members of the appropriate Lore level and this is detailed here. The actual secrets of the Guilds are only passed on to players of Guild members.

- You know the signs by which your Guild identity each other as Guild members
- You can describe the 13 Guilds as per the introduction of each Arcanos in WtO
- You know your immediate superior in the Guild
- You know the Artificers claim to be the oldest of the Guilds
- You know there was an event called the War of the Guilds
- You know that Charon's decree of The Breaking of the Guilds happened after the Guilds rose in revolt
- You know that your Guild uses different nicknames for Guild members and you know what those names are
- You know that being a member of a Guild has the penalty of being soulforged if you are caught

- You can find a Guild member who can train you in your Guild Arcanos
- You know the signs by which allied Guilds identify each other
- You know the key leaders in your Guild of Status (••••) or better
- You know the basic politics of your own Guild
- You know some of your Guild's involvement during the War of Guilds
- You know some of your Guild's involvement and politics during the Guild Coup d'etat
- You can describe the three Lesser Guilds as per their description in the introduction of the Arcanoi of Flux, Solicitation and Mnemosynis
- You know the tales of Nudhri and his three Apprentices
- You know some of the Guilds mark their dissatisfaction with the Hierarchy from the Dictum Mortuum, a decree by Charon forbidding interaction with the living
- You know that other Guilds use different nicknames for their Guild members and you know what those names are

- You know the detail of your Guild from the appropriate Wraith Guildbook. For those Guilds without a published Guildbook, see your Storyteller.
- You know which Guild member can assist you with sourcing needed raw materials or a relic (••• or less)
- You know of a Guild-owned Haunt in your Necropolis
- You know all the open signs used by Guild members of any Guild to identify each other
- You know most of your Guild's involvement and politics during the War of Guilds
- You know most of your Guild's involvement and politics during the Guild Coup d'etat
- You know the complex politics of your own Guild
- You know of a couple of Guild members of your Guild that are serving in the Legions (Hierarchy Status (•) or (••) )
- You know the leaders in your Guild of Status (•••) or better
- You know your Guild's secrets of how to make Artefacts (••• or less ) and materials

- You know where all the Guild-owned Haunts are in your Necropolis
- You know the members and leaders in your Guild of Status (••) or better
- You know which Hierarchy officials are sympathetic to Guild members and will turn a blind eye to any discovered activities
- You know all of your Guild's involvement during the War of Guilds as described in the appropriate Guildbook
- You know all of your Guild's involvement and politics during the Guild Coup d'etat including some dirty deals and betrayals, as described in the appropriate Guildbook
- You have heard rumour that Nudhri still exists and guides the Artificers' Guild
- You know some locations of sympathetic Renegades
- You know of a couple of Guild members of your Guild that are well placed in the Hierarchy (Hierarchy Status (•••) or better)
- You know the Council of Guilds still meets and discusses joint policy

- You know the history of the formation of the Guilds in Stygia
- You know of the representatives to the Council of Guilds, you may have even met one or two
- You know of all your Guild members unless they have joined less than 5 years ago
- You have heard rumours that Nudhri's Apprentices did not meet their end during the Guild Coup
- You know some sympathetic Heretic groups as long as you disavow your Guild membership
- You know of a couple of Guild members of other Guilds that are highly placed in the Hierarchy (Hierarchy Status (•••bull;) or better)
- You know of your Guild's main Haunt maintained in Stygia
